What the apps send us
The desktop agent and server periodically contact relaylink.stream to check for updates. Each check includes a random machine id (generated locally, not derived from hardware serials or your identity), the app name, its version, and the platform. If an app crashes, the next start sends a crash report: the same machine id, the panic message, and a code backtrace. Crash reports contain no audio, no file paths from your media, and no account data.
Your audio and video never touch our servers — streams go directly from your PCs to the platforms you configure (Twitch, Kick), and recordings stay on your disk.
What the website stores
Beta requests store the name and email you submit. If you're invited and create an account: your email, display name, a salted password hash, optional two-factor secrets (encrypted), and session records (IP address and browser user-agent, as is standard). Downloads through your personal link are counted and attributed to it — that's how we know who has which build.
We send account emails only: beta invitations, download links, verification, and password resets. No marketing, no sharing addresses with anyone.
Deletion
Email beta@relaylink.stream from your account address and we'll delete the account and its data. The machine id can be reset locally by deleting %APPDATA%\RelayLink\machine-id.
